First of all, I would like to say thank you to Jun, he is the BXT person assigned to my purchase. We had a long text via WhatsApp and he’s been so helpful, accomodating, patient, answer every questions directly and never pushes to sell the bike to me. Purchasing a bike from China is risky because you don’t really can touch the product, cannot smell or feel the quality since there is no sample bike to try on before purchase. Of course there is YouTube (there’s a few out there to looked at but not so convincing because they only bought the frame and courageously build the gravel bike themselves. BXT 135 frame is somewhat a look alike frame from a certain brand (find that out yourself) but very expensive and I am not wasting my hard earned $$ on the 3rd bike. My background is road bike and I have a 2018 Venge Specialized and also have a Specialized Transition Time Trial bike (all rim brakes). I built my bikes, service it and even build my own carbon wheels from scratch including specifying the spoke lengths via measuring the hubs and ERD myself. But since all my experiences are from the old rim brakes and never had any knowledge of hydraulic brakes, I decided to buy a complete bike. After months of reading, YouTube and choosing a base frame, I ended up with the Gravel BXT 135. My order was unique and had to pay extra since I opted for the SHIMANO 105 Di2 Electronic Groupset, Flat Black Tandell Wave Wheelset Blackout (no decal) and regular handlebar 420*90 with no 12 degrees drop bar tilt (I wanted a same look with my old road bike).
